Hello, everyone! It has been a busy two weeks here. We are in the process of getting our kitchen and bathrooms remodeled. So that has really put a kink in my crafting! I am trying to find time to work it all in.
This card was a High Hopes sketch challenge. It was originally for the design team tryouts, but I didn't make the deadline. I used My Favorite Things stamp set for this card. Stampin Up for the sentiment. The base cardstock is Georgia Pacific white (found at Wal-Mart). The next layer (brown) is SU Creamy Caramel. The patterned paper is My Mind's Eye. I used Staz-On Timber Brown ink for the stamps. I colored in the stamped image with Prismas and OMS. The blue cardstock is SU Soft Sky. The mat behind the stamped image is SU Barely Banana. Thanks for looking and have a great day!

Nice card - love the layout and colors used. I like the shimmery pattern paper. I have a couple of My favorite stamps and I love them!
Great card! Love that image. Congrats on the remodeling, but hopefully it will be done soon, and you can get back to norm...whatever that is...LOL!
This is so pretty! Your color combo is so unique and stunning! Love it!
I love the papers and this image is darling! great job!
This is super cute!!!!
Great card! Love the BP you used.
Great card, amazing that you found any time at all to make it. Doing a remodel is such a mess. Everything is topsy-turvy until it is finished. Good luck with it!
Beautiful card! Thanks for the update. I hope you will post pics of the remodel. Sounds horrible to have to go through it but you will be so happy when you have a great house!
Really nice card Heather! Great job on the image and I'm always loving that MME paper! Best of luck with the remodeling- that sure can turn things upside down for a while!
This is totally gorgeous!!!!! love the colours, shame you didn't get it in on time!
This is sooo cute! LOVE that image and love that you stamped it in Stazon Timber - rather than Black - it gives it sucha softer feel!!! Good luck with the remodeling!!! I hear you about how busy life can be - I am just spinning from working full time, getting home from vacation to dealing with two sick kids... our house is a mess , i can't find any clean clothes to wear to work... and my craft time has dwindled...
but its so nice to come over and read your blog and see your beautiful creations!!
wishing you all the best!!!
